Williamson County and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) celebrated the groundbreaking of improvements to RM 620 Phase 2 Monday, December 12, 2016. The Phase 2 project is made up of two segments. The first segment is a TxDOT project from Cornerwood Drive to Wyoming Springs Drive. This roadway was widened as part of the Phase 1 safety improvements. The second segment is Williamson County’s project to widen the roadway from four to six lanes from Wyoming Springs Drive to Deep Wood Drive and will include new curb and gutter and a raised median.

The public is invited to join the City of Cedar Park, Williamson County, and the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) as we celebrate the completion of the RM 1431 Pass-Through Project on Wednesday, November 16, at 9 a.m. The ceremony will be on the southwest corner of Toro Grande and E. Whitestone Boulevard in the parking lot of the Cedar Park Family Emergency Center. The $18.2 million project includes widening the four-lane roadway to a six-lane divided facility from 183A Toll Road to Sam Bass Road, adding raised medians, and constructing turn bays at selected locations. The contractor for the project is Hunter Industries, LTD.
