Williamson County’s contractor Jimmy Evans Company is scheduled to set up long-term lane closures on eastbound and westbound Neenah Avenue at Pearson Ranch Road starting Monday, April 17, 2017. The outside lanes will be closed to facilitate the removal and replacement of the existing pavement, curb, sidewalk and associated construction items. These lanes are expected to be closed for approximately four weeks, weather permitting.

TxDOT, in cooperation with the city of Round Rock, will conduct a ‘Meet the Contractor’ open house on Tuesday, April 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Allen R. Baca Center, located at 301 W. Bagdad Ave. # 2, Round Rock, TX 78664. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the reconstruction of the FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) bridge over I-35 and the construction of U-turn bridges in each direction, in addition to bicycle and pedestrian enhancements.
Citizens are invited to attend and learn more about the improvements to Old Settlers Boulevard, as well as to ask questions and provide feedback to project team members. Information regarding improvements being built, property access, lane closures, traffic adjustments, and project milestones will also be provided at the meeting.

Construction crews are starting work improving I-35 at FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard).
