Williamson County’s contractor Hunter Industries is scheduled to permanently close the existing entrance ramp to Interstate Highway 35 just south of Inner Loop on Monday, August 10, 2015.  All northbound frontage road traffic will have to proceed north through the intersection at Inner Loop and enter IH 35 at the new entrance ramp south of RM 2243 (Leander Road). This closure provides a safe work zone for the contractors to remove the existing ramp and construct the new Northbound Exit Ramp 259B. An electronic message board will be set to provide advance notification to the public for this ramp closure.  No traffic delays are anticipated due to the planned ramp closure. This work will be completed in approximately four weeks weather permitting.
