Inner Loop Safety Improvements

Location SE Inner Loop from Maple Street to Belmont Drive
Description The project will widen portions of Inner Loop to provide a right turn lane and left turn lane at Wilco Way, Rockride Lane, the Williamson County Animal Shelter, and the Williamson County Central Maintenance Facility.
Status

The design of SE Inner Loop from Maple Street through Rockride lane was completed by Rodriguez Transportation Group. The design of SE Inner Loop at the Central Maintenance Facility was completed by Bridgefarmer & Associates.

A Groundbreaking Ceremony was held on Friday, October 6th at 10:00 am. Chasco Constructors is the contractor. Construction is underway. The project is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2018 at a cost of $5.3 million. To view the weekly progress report, click here.

The County’s contractor, Chasco Constructors, is schedule to perform hot mix paving along Inner Loop for the new widening on Friday, December 15, from Rockride Lane to near the Williamson County Central Maintenance Facility.  No lane closures are planned at this time, but hot mix delivery trucks will be exiting and entering the roadway during this operation.  More hot mix paving will take place the following Tuesday, December 19 as well.  The impact to traffic should be minor and no delays are anticipated.
